Towards a Smarter Tomorrow

July 2025, Edition #14

Midway through 2025 already? Time's flying, and AI is sprinting right alongside. This month's newsletter gives a high-five to every one of you fueling the tech magic. We're celebrating the small AI moments that quietly upgrade our lives, and the loud ones that make us go “Wait… did it just do that?” Add to that: a salute to the quirky energy on our floor (like the lonely basket-robot pacing for purpose).

It's a mix of heart, humor, and high-tech. Plus, don't miss our curated list of the city's most unique tech spots to explore this month.

It All AI-ded Up

In just under 3 months, I've somehow turned into that person who notices weird tech things in the middle of everyday life.

It started with a coffee machine trial...

That magical device not only remembered how I liked my brew—it adjusted for the weather (like, what?) and reordered beans without asking.

And I thought, wait—this is what good UX feels like. Zero drama. Zero overthinking. Just... help.

Then came applying for my health insurance...

I was expecting paperwork hell. Instead, it was a friendly chatbot that didn’t make me feel dumb.

Felt like someone in the backend whispered,

“You're tired. Let's make this easy.” That's not just AI. That's thoughtful build.

Then my broken glasses led me to a colleague’s pair...

I liked them, snapped a photo, uploaded it—and boom. Found the exact match online in seconds.

How?? Turns out, that's multimodal AI doing its thing. Did I fully understand how it worked? Nope. Was I impressed enough to tell everyone? Absolutely.

I'm no coder. I'm just the person pointing at cool stuff and saying, “Hey, that's brilliant.”

But lately, I've had a lot of those moments. And they all lead back to the same thing:

You. The ones quietly building magic into everyday life. So yeah, keep doing your thing. Because you're not just shipping features— You're shaping how people experience the world.

I know you're secretly (or not-so-secretly) tired of the same ol' same ol'. Work, scroll, repeat? Not cute.

So this month, I’ve curated a list of experiences to help you break free and feel otherworldly. Literally.

Movie night? Please. This is movie night on steroids. Seats that move, air that whooshes, and effects that slap harder than your last situationship. You won’t just watch the film—you’ll live it.

RNow this is where it gets delicious. Imagine: battling aliens with one hand, snacking on fries with the other. You + VR + snacks = iconic trio. (Because we don't game hungry, duh.)

Big Bull Club

And for the grand finale? Big Bull Club, aka the hottest immersive party zone in the city. Lights, music, full-on virtual fantasy. Trust me, even your FYP can’t handle this level of main-character energy.
