Sometimes, you've got to pause the follow-ups, hit snooze on the
pipeline, and give your calendar a breather. That's exactly what
I did on my recent trip to Vietnam.
My journey began in Hanoi. It's the kind of place where you just
drop the plan and follow the energy. Street food stalls on every
corner, lakes tucked between colonial buildings, and scooters
absolutely everywhere, like a flash mob on wheels. I wandered; I
ate and immersed myself in the beauty of the city.
From there, I took a cruise through the breathtaking Halong Bay,
gliding past limestone islands and calm waters that felt like
something out of a dream. Hoi An completely charmed me with its
glowing lanterns, heritage architecture, and riverside cafes. I
spent hours simply walking its streets, soaking in the
atmosphere.
In Danang, I slowed things down with some beach time, and
finally, I wrapped up in Ho Chi Minh City, where the energy is
infectious, the coffee is top-tier, and every street has a story
to tell.
What truly made the trip memorable wasn't just the sights, but
the people. Everywhere I went, I was met with warmth and
curiosity that reminded me just how much connection matters,
both in travel and in life.
